DIN 5685 stainless steel chain follows the German general purpose chain standard in short link (form A) or long link (form C) versions, made in stainless steel for corrosion resistance.
Where DIN 5685 Stainless Chain Is Used
DIN 5685 designates calibrated short link (form A) and long link (form C) chain for general purpose use: hanging, lifting slings made on site, towing, barriers and decorative work. It is not a grade-marked lifting chain. The stainless steel version is chosen for marine, coastal and outdoor use.
